Install once, point at your pod, and write the MCP config for Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, Codex and more. Web AIs like claude.ai and ChatGPT use the Synap Cloud connector instead — no CLI needed.

01 · Install

Global npm package

npm install -g @synap-core/cli

02 · Point at your pod

Login / configure

synap login

Adds your pod (managed or self-hosted), then offers to sign in to your Synap account.

03 · Connect an agent

MCP into the clients you already use

synap mcp connect cursor

Run synap mcp connect with no client to pick from the list. Every client's setup — including web AIs that use the Synap Cloud connector instead — is in the ecosystem directory.
